Introduction to risk analysis

Risk analysis is the central step of the workflow. It follows pre-qualification and leverages its results to identify, assess and treat the risks affecting your project.

The role of risk analysis

Risk analysis builds directly on pre-qualification: AICT levels, assets, processes and documents entered previously are automatically taken into account. You do not need to re-enter them.

The goal is to produce a risk map, with for each risk a treatment plan (remediation measures) and a criticality before/after measures.

The five steps of the analysis

The risk analysis unfolds across five successive tabs, to be completed in order:

  1. Initialisation — You check that the context from pre-qualification is complete before launching the generations.
  2. Feared events — You identify the undesirable impact scenarios on the AICT criteria.
  3. Risks — You associate each feared event with one or more risks, with criticality and treatment mode.
  4. Remediation measures — You define the measures to be implemented to reduce the risks.
  5. Summary — You consult the risk matrices and drive the treatment plan.

The general principle: AI + analyst

On each tab, you will find a Generate button that lets the AI suggest a first version of the content. Your role is then to review, enrich and validate these suggestions.

tip

The AI is not meant to replace your expertise. It saves you time by producing a solid draft, which you then refine based on the real context of your project.

You can also manually add items (events, risks, measures) at any time, in addition to or instead of the AI generations.

Access the risk analysis

From your project's details page, open the Overview tab. In the Workflow widget, find the Risk analysis block then click the Start button.

You can also access it directly from the pre-qualification summary, via the Launch risk analysis button at the bottom of the page.
