Introduction to pre-qualification

Pre-qualification is the first step in a project's workflow. It lets you frame the context before launching the risk analysis and feeds all the AI generations that follow.

The role of pre-qualification​

Pre-qualification always precedes the risk analysis. It consists of describing the project scope, identifying the assets and processes concerned, and assessing the overall expected risk level via a structured questionnaire.

All the information entered at this stage is reused by the AI in the following workflow phases: the more complete the pre-qualification, the more relevant the subsequent generations will be.

Take the time to thoroughly fill in the scoping cards. The quality of the AI generations directly depends on the information provided here: context, documents, assets and processes.

The three steps of pre-qualification​

Pre-qualification unfolds across three successive tabs, to be completed in order:

  1. Scoping cards — You describe the project context, import the relevant documents and link the assets and processes involved.
  2. Questionnaire — You answer a series of questions to assess contextual risk factors.
  3. Summary — The AI generates a summary with the overall risk level and the AICT levels (Availability, Integrity, Confidentiality, Traceability).

Each tab builds on the information entered in the previous one.

Reading: the progression is sequential (left to right), but each later step can refine the earlier ones (dashed arrows).

Access pre-qualification​

From your project's details page, open the Overview tab. In the Workflow widget, find the Pre-qualification block then click the Start button.

You are then redirected to the first tab of pre-qualification, Scoping cards.

The breadcrumb at the top of the page lets you return at any time to the project details page or to the projects list. Your entries are preserved as you navigate between pre-qualification tabs.

Pre-qualification is sometimes called "pre-qualification" in internal documents. On the platform, we always use the term Pre-qualification.
